Tromsø Golf Park, the northernmost 18-hole golf course in the world, is located a 35 minute drive from the city centre of Tromsø. In addition to its 9-hole par 3 course, the Golf Park also offers practice areas including a driving range, all surrounded by the wild beauty of the Lyngen alpine mountain range.
The golf park is situated near one of the best salmon rivers in the region and right next to lush birch woods containing a multitude of wildlife. With its close proximity to the sea, the area looks as if it has been taken right out of a tourist brochure depicting some of the most intense nature experience Norway can offer her guests and visitors.
The Golf Park grounds are also home to relics of the Sámi culture. The relics clearly indicate that we are in an area where strong historical evidence of Sámi traditions and presence is found.
The location of the golf course, some distance from Tromsø city centre, ensures that the golfer's experience of the game will be accompanied only by the sound of other golfers discussing their own golfing performance.
The serene peacefulness and tranquillity of the area will guarantee the visitor an extraordinary golfing experience.
